About US

Dear Parents,

You are here because you feel a stake in future of our youth. Congratulations for reaching out to explore the possibilities with Stem Edulinks for young minds!

Today’s work life require a quality education, and strong hands on experience including strong science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). A robust science & technology education creates critical thinkers, problem solvers, and produces the next generation of innovators. Can we do something to spark an interest?

Research shows that children develop interest in fields like Game Making, Robot building, Mobile App making, Computer Coding etc. at an average age of 7, where children can learn concepts of Physics & Maths in a practical way with the medium of Game characters / Robot movements.

Kids Are Smarter Than We Think

Consider a typical 3-4 year-old’s worldview. They might not understand the principles of physics, but they do know that objects fall to the ground when dropped, they know balls bounce off walls, and they know cars speed along with the help of wheels.

There’s plenty of room to experiment within these simplistic parameters; you don’t need to know how to calculate a dot product to explain collision response and restitution, and kids know that some things are more slippery than others. Friction and drag and other concepts related to rigid-body Newtonian physics are the perfect subject matter for curious young minds.

What if we focus our energies in exposing children to the wonders of Science and Technology early on … in elementary and middle schools? What if, this early engagement with STEM is fun and connected with the real world of engineering and technology?

Here is something that could turn a bunch of mini-monsters into avid creatives and creators, genuinely excited to learn…

Stem Edulinks is a platform that promotes student engagement in the technology fields.

We believe it is critically important for kids to explore, create, play, and make, in order to learn about the world around them. We understand that children learn best when they are engaged in fun, challenge-based, hands-on learning experiences that connect the school curriculum to the real world in tangible and meaningful ways.

We offer highly interactive in-school and out-of-school programs, camps and workshops for children from Grade 4 to Grade 7 in the following areas:

·         Game Design & Coding

·         Robot Building and Programming.

·         Mobile App Development

·         Digital Story Telling

·         Science Experiment Labs

We are mission bound to make technical education fun and real and looking forward to serving youth.

Sincerely,

Mukesh Mittal

COURSES

Technology and fun are at the core of everything we do at Stem Edulinks. Whether you're six, twelve, fourteen, or somewhere in-between, we have a program that will spark your interest. Co-ed programs include Stem Edulinks Camps for ages 7–14.

We specialize in the studies of Programming, App Development, Robotics, Game Design & Development, 3D Modelling, Animation, 3D Printing and more.

We offer over various courses, utilizing the hottest technologies from Apple, Autodesk, Google, Microsoft, and other industry leaders. You'll receive personalized instruction (maximum 10 students per staff) from our cool, energetic staff, and build valuable life and career skills.Hereunder are our current courses

Game Making & Coding

What if instead of just playing games and watching TV, your kids could actually make THEIR OWN games and animated stories?

This course is aimed for kids between 8 and 16 and they'll learn how to make simple games, stories and animation using Scratch & Minecraft, a visual programming platform for children created by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Scratch makes it very simple for kids to understand basic coding concepts and to make their creations come true by just dragging and dropping elements and connecting them with each other. It is highly visual, interactive and fun!

The course is project and concept based, this means we'll work though out actual examples that you can modify and play with afterwards. During the project we will explain the logics of programming and how to use those logics in different scenarios.

What your kids will learn in this course:

·         Using intuitive building blocks to visually craft simple web games, stories and animations.

·         Grasping programming concepts such as conditions and loops. Taught with a project-based methodology.

·         Make their creations interactive for the users.

·         Share their games and animations so that other people can play and modify them.

·         Most importantly, understand how simple it is to make their creative ideas a reality in today's world

Robot Building & Programming

Looking for new activities to inspire your child outside of school?

Three words: Robot Building & Programming

Robotics for Kids uses fun, hands-on projects to get your child’s creative juices flowing. Your child will learn how to build and program robots with LEGO® bricks and software — all while making friends, developing new skills and having a great time with STEM. For many kids, robotics class is a highlight of their week.

We have several kids’ robotics programs available to fully engage and challenge your aspiring engineer, computer programmer or scientist. First timer? No problem! Your child is welcome. He or she can jump into Robotics basics without any prior experience.

How we teach kids robotics each week

In each Robotics for Kids class, your child and a buddy work together to plan and build a new robot using LEGO® bricks, letting their creativity and imaginations loose. Along the way, they learn science and engineering concepts, such as how pulleys, levers and motors work.

As the kids’ robots take shape, they experiment with LEGO® Education’s award-winning WeDo™ software. They discover how to apply computer programming concepts and find new ways to get their “boat” moving.

Then, the energy levels (and smiles) really reach a high point, as the kids challenge other teams to friendly games or take part in imaginative play.

At the end of each robotics class, your child enjoys a wrap-up activity to reinforce the STEM skills he or she learned in class. (You’ll hear all about it on the way home.

Mobile App Making

Making Android & IOS Apps has sort of always been thought of as some magical process that only programmers can do. It was never thought possible that anybody would be able to make Android Apps.

I'm here to tell you that it is possible! Plus, you never have to write a single line of code! In this course I teach you how to use tools to make Android Apps using an easy mouse-driven drag and drop block system to make your app work. You build the user interface visually, and then just click the blocks together using the mouse to make it work.

In this course we teach kids, over 10 hours of instruction, how to leverage the power of App Inventor  to make Android Apps easily and without coding. It's set at a pace that starts out at a beginner level and works it's way up to a more advanced level to include making varios games / Apps .
